Legally Blind Golfer Purple Star

Legally blind -- and still playing golf!

When my husband was 42 years old, he was told he was legally blind. The doctors first thought the problem was retinitis pigmentosa. Later some doctors suggested macular degeneration. After many tests and many doctors, it is now determined that he has a combination of both of those diseases and a few more.

At the time of his diagnosis, our children were 12 and 18 years old. It was a scary time for all of us. And yet, in the 20 years since his diagnosis, he has continued to be an inspiration. A former golf professional and semi-pro baseball pla...

Lesley has created

We have been providing free sign language resources since 2006. This resource is to provide you with signs used in religious context but some signs vary depending on the church. All of these signs are perfectly acceptable in the American Sign Language Community. These are perfect if you are a Sunday School Teacher looking to boost your worship. Sign Language is a great way to incorporate the lesson with song. Children are given a visual tool (sign) and audio tool (song) to remember the...

Top 1% on Squidoo

Squidootop1percent

I was thinking about the over two million lenses on Squidoo this morning.  That is right!  Nearly double the number of lenses in the past 18 months.

I got out a calculator (I rarely do math without one I am a bit embarrassed to admit).

Here is what I discovered:

If your Squidoo lens is in the top 20,000 overall then it is in the TOP 1%!

and began to find out who else has lenses in the top 1%.
This post is to celebrate each lensmaster who has 1 lens or more in the TOP 1% of pages on Squidoo.

How many of your lenses are in the top 1% on Squidoo? (The Math: There are two million lenses (or more) so an overall lensrank of 20,000 or less is in the top 1%).

  • Deborah Bryan Yay for Hats for Homeless (it has been featured on lens sightings at least once before- now will be the second time). Might be the first lens to be featured twice!!! Just so you know. ♥

  • Linda Deal Wow! You know I don't deserve all credit for the lens, but I enjoy hearing about it. Thanks so much.

  • Diane Wallace I have 6. Seems to be they should pay more for the 10,000 to 20,000 then.

  • Reply Below:
How many do you have in the top 1%?
What is your Lensmaster Profile URL?
